Our season has come to an end. We didn't get the BIG W, but we played

1st game in the bag with a beautiful W! Our girls have come such a long
way this season, they play with so much heart and soul. We all as
parents and spectators couldn't be any prouder of our girls.
Elkmont Lady Red Devils 10u 1 beat West 2, 13-2.
So our amazing young ladies fell short on the W in the first game but looking to the next. They played
AMAZING as usual, so proud of each and everyone of these talented young
ladies.

Another awesome W for our Elkmont 1 Lady Red Devils against Ardmore 2, 14-2.
Most Elkmont teams have finished their seasons but may be playing in tournaments. If your player in involved in travel ball, we want to read about that too. For travel ball team posts, send team name, age group, scores, summary of tournament results and names of Elkmont players. Of course, pictures are fantastic to add as well.

Tuesday
Way to go Elkmont 1. They won 22-3 against East 5 Dawson made
a double play; catching a fly ball and getting the over eager runner out at 1st
base.
9&10
Elkmont Red 9 & 10 outlast West 1 in high-scoring affair, 12-11.
With the beginning of summer, the youth diamond sports in Elkmont are mostly done. Our players either make an all-star team, play travel ball or take the rest of the summer off. If the Elkmont youth teams haven't finished their season, this is the last week.

Friday
Great W again by our Lady Red Devils as they doubled up Ardmore 2, 14-6. So many talented young ladies
who impress me more and more with each game.
This team has taken to the road as they played in The Battle of the Bats in Huntsville Metro Sportsplex. Out of 22
teams they finished in 3rd place. They played 2 pool play games; coming up short in both those games before being placed in the blue bracket. The Lady Devils won their first game against NA Crush, 10-7. Next up were the Huntsville Shockers (who is #1 in the state in 10u C class), Elkmont battled through, came from behind and forced extra innings for the 9-5 win. In the fifth game of the day, Strike Zone won 15-6 but our girls played their hearts out. At the end of the day an exhausted Lady Devils team took home a third place trophy.
