ELKMONT BASEBALL - MARCH 7

Varsity:

Decatur Heritage 14, Elkmont 0: 
The Elkmont varsity baseball team was stung by the 
Decatur Heritage Eagles.   Zach Armstrong struck out five while giving up three hits in the complete-game win at Elkmont (3-3).

Elkmont's next game will be a double header tomorrow @ Athens Bible School - 1 :30 pm.  It will be beautiful weather for baseball, so enjoy

JV: 
Elkmont vs Decatur Heritage; no report yet

Middle School:
The Red Devils went down to Clements and they had two games to steal.  They won both - hoping to get stats and scores later this week.  Their next appearance will be at Ardmore in a double header, March 15 @ 4:30 pm 

LAUDERDALE COUNTY TAKES TWO WINS

After dealing with rainouts for the last week, the Elkmont varsity softball team got back on the field for a Lauderdale County game.  Unfortunately, the Lady Devils lost 8 - 0.  They will be out under the lights again tonight and playing in great weather tomorrow in the Madison Academy Tournament.


The JV game followed and the Lauderdale Lady Tigers won 11 - 4.  The JV Lady Devils' next game will be against Loretta, Tennessee on March 18.  Elkmont will be hosting the varsity/JV combo. Varsity game starts at 4:30 pm.

SOFTBALL FUNDRAISER WAS A SUCCESS

The softball players of our 12U youth softball 
team, Elkmont 1 had a great fundraiser

last night at Pizza Inn in Ardmore.   

Everyone who came (and there were lots and 

lots of you) get a big shout out from the girls.  
They appreciate your patience with the chaos 
and willingness to come out and support them. 

Pizza Inn was overwhelmed by the huge crowd 

and often there was standing room only. However 

you still came, laughed, visited, and ate good pizza.  

Pizza Inn had agreed to let the girls work and in 

return our softball players got 10% of last night's 

gross sales and all tips.  Elkmont 1 ended up with 

$510 at the end of the night to go toward their uniforms.


Elkmont people are the best!!!!!

ELKMONT 1 SOFTBALL TEAM FUNDRAISER

SOFTBALL FUNDRAISER AT PIZZA INN

Elkmont youth softball has started

practice and are getting ready for 

their opening date next month.  Part

of that preparation is getting team 
uniforms.  One of the softball teams 

is Elkmont 1, coached by Barry 

Devine.  

The young ladies who will be playing 
are having a fundraiser to help pay 
for those uniforms.  Pizza Inn in Ardmore has 
teamed up with Elkmont 1 this evening.  

Pizza Inn has agreed to let the girls work and in return 

our softball players get 10% of tonight's gross sales 

and all tips.

Come to pizza inn tonight in Ardmore to 

support our softball team! 5p.m. Til 8p.m.
