ELKMONT RESULTS THIS WEEK

One of the characteristics of a small high school is that athletes are recycled from sport to sport.  Our baseball and softball team is no exception.  They are hanging up the basketball shoes and dusting off the gloves and bats as they started their seasons this week.  Best of luck to our Diamond Red Devils.

It was all Athens Bible in the season opener with a 10-run top of the first inning. Hunter Pittman had a double, a walk and two RBIs for Elkmont.

Brian Rios doubled, drove in a run and scored a run for Elkmont. Preston Robinson had a hit and two RBIs.  Jaevan Jackson had one hit. Hunter Pitman and Jordan Fielding each picked up a walk. Brett Parker pitched 4 innings, with 13 first pitch strikes and 3 strikeouts. Clay Hunt finished up the game with 2 innings, 5 first pitch strikes.
