In the 12 and under Limestone County Softball league, the
Elkmont Lunachix won their game Tuesday in a late nighter. Elkmont had
to score 4 runs in the last inning to win against West Limestone, 18-17.
We had
some good pitching from Elizabeth Sims. She was backed up by a solid infield who had some great infield plays.
Felica Suggs hit a line drive to left field that scored two runs.
And all nine of our girls that played scored at least once, some
of them three times. All the girls did a fantastic job at the plate..
