BASEBALL SEASON IS HERE

The first week of Red Devils varsity baseball is in the books and has a 2-1 record. The JV is off to a great start as well with a 2-0 record.

MONDAY:
The varsity opened its season with Wilson High School, losing 20-3.

Brady Garris' two-run single in the fifth inning provided Elkmont with an 8-7 lead and gave the Red Devils the lead for good. Bryce Tyler finished with a double, two singles, an RBI and four runs scored. Jackson cook, who got the win in relief, had two singles, an RBI and a run scored. Jake Powers had a home run, a double, three RBIs and two runs scored for Tanner.

Brady Garris homered, doubled and singled, and drove in three runs for Elkmont. Jackson Cook had two singles, three RBIs and two runs. Taylor Thomas added two singles and two RBIs. Winning pitcher Braden Miller singled and drew a walk.
