Well, we went to West Limestone on Thursday afternoon and it looked like the Middle Red Devils were expecting a rainout. We lost two today that we really had no business losing.The first game was 3 - 2. Eli Hobbs scored on a passed ball after being advanced by Jordan Nelson. Taylor crossed the plate on a hit by Josh Johnson to give us 2 runs. West scored three to beat us 3 - 2. Nelson worked on the mound and had 3 Ks.
In the second game, Johnson crossed home plate on a hit by Taylor Thomas after being advanced by Aron Moss to give us our one run. Tyler Watts worked 3 innings and had 2 Ks then was relieved by Travis Riggs who had a K. and we lost 4 - 1. Hoping for a better day tomorrow when the Middle Devils host Athens Bible School @ 3:30 pm.....Taz
