RED DEVILS ADD ONE MORE TO THEIR RECORD

The varsity and middle school baseball teams were playing on a very cold and damp Saturday.The middle school Red Devils traveled to Lauderdale County for a double header.  They lost the first game, 5-3; regrouped for the second to win, 5-1.


The older Red Devils were in Leeds and it was just as cold as it was in Lauderdale County. Elkmont were on their way to adding two wins to their season but were upended by Leeds in the bottom of the seventh inning.


Elkmont 5, Ragland 3:
Brady Garris tripled and drove in a run to lead the Red Devils. Jackson Cook, Jim Dawson and winning pitcher Braden Miller also drove in runs. 


Leeds 11, Elkmont 10: In the bottom of the seventh, Leeds tied the game and scored the game winner.
