RED DEVILS WALK THE PLANK

Elkmont traveled to Rogers to take on the Pirates yesterday. The Red Devils got off to a quick start, scoring two runs in the first.  However,  a four run surge in the fourth inning sealed a win for the Pirates, 7-4.  Errors were again a problem for Elkmont as they committed five to Rogers' two.

Brady Garris and Jackson Cook had two hits each.  Braxton Hand contributed one hit to the Elkmont effort.  Patrick Jobman collected two walks. Braden Miller picking up one walk and two RBIs (runs batted in). Clay Hunt was Elkmont's starting pitcher and threw 3.2 innings before being relieved by Braden Miller.  Miller pitched 2.1 innings with three strikeouts and 8 first pitch strikes.
