MIDDLE SCHOOL DROP TWO TO TIGERS

Elkmont Middle School spent the first day of their Spring break playing the Ardmore Tigers in a double header.  Elkmont had an early edge in the first game on Monday, but the Tigers roared back to steal a 6-4 victory at Ardmore.

The top of the first saw Elkmont take an early lead, 3-0. The Red Devils' offense woke up as Logan Griffin singled, followed by a Phillip single which scored Logan. They then tacked on more runs when Pitman scored on a wild pitch and Norman scored on a wild pitch.

It didn't take long for Ardmore to answer as it scored two runs of its own in the second. They scored on a two-run double by Eckstein. The Tigers went up for good in the fourth inning, scoring three runs on a two-run error.
