MIDDLE SCHOOL SWEEPS ABS

Everything is all better in Taz's little part of the world again. The Middle
Devils looked a whole lot better today and came away with two wins vs Athens Bible School Trojans.

Jordan Nelson pitched another fine game today and the defense turned in a much more solid effort behind him. Elkmont was able to move the runners into scoring position and come up with big, timely hits over and again. We wound up with a 11-2 win in the first game. Bryce Tyler got us on the board with a run driven in by Aron Moss; followed by Nelson on a passed ball. Eli Hobbs added a run with an RBI (run batted in) going to Tyler. Ethan Wilson moved the runners around and Moss drove in Tyler and Nelson. Moss scored on an RBI by Travis Riggs; Nelson again on a passed ball.  Wilson and Moss were driven in by Brady Garris, Jackson Cook advanced Riggs who scored on an RBI by Connor McCown. McCown was driven in by Hobbs to finish up our scoring with eleven runs.

Nelson finished off the 5th inning with a sweet pick off move and swipe tag by Wilson at first for the first out.  Jordan finished ABS off with two strikes outs; pitching a complete game with five Ks in a fine outing.
